Stretching on “S” letter land from North to South there are many passes curves round slopers which cause an impress landscape in Vietnam
O Quy Ho pass (Hoang Lien Son pass) is one of the longest,most arduous and majestic pass in Northwest hingland of Vietnam.Located on 4D highway that cut short Hoang Lien Son mountain,O Quy Ho pass connects the two provinces Lao Cai and Lai Chau,border at the top.
Ma Pi Leng,located on the high of 2000
metters,is one of the highest pass in Vietnam.Under the pass there is Nho Que
river in curve,as tiny as a clew.
Pha Din pass,located on road from Hanoi city to
Dien Bien province,is on the border of Son La and Dien Bien province.The length
is about 32 kilometters,it is terrain and cliff.Pha Din means sun and ground.According
to legend,this is the adjacent place between sun and gound.
Khau Co pass,located on road revent to Yen Bai
province,is the last part of Hoang Lien Son mountain.About 30 kilometters
length pass curves round the rolling mountain.
Bac Sum pass is at the early of 4D highway(Ha
Giang province),about 40 kilometters from Quang Ba.The pass is zigzag,rolling
like overlap fabric rolls.
Thung Khe pass is covered by white floating
clouds.
Khau Lieu pass located between Quang Uyen and
Trung Khanh district,Cao Bang province.”Khau Lieu” is Tay language,means Lieu
pass.Look down from top,Khau Lieu pass looks like a dragon that rolling and
endfold the mountain.
Ngoan Muc pass(Song Pha pass) is one of the
most beautiful pass in Vietnam,located in Ninh Thuan,along vertical
slopes,connects Ninh Son valley and Lang Biang plateau.Ngoan Muc pass is 18.5
kilometters legth, 9 degrees average slope,and this the most slope pass in
Southern provinces.
Phuong Hoang pass located on 26th
highway,which the part is at the border between Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa
province.The leght is 12 kilometters.The pass belong to M’Dak district and Est
gateway of Dak Lak province.
Stretching on Hai Van slope is Hai Van
pass,about 20 kilometters length,connects between Thua Thien-Hue province and
Da Nang city.Hai Van pass is like a soft silk which crossing the majestic and immense
reeds mountain.
Ngang pass(Hoanh Son Quan pass) located on Ky
Nam village,Ky Anh district,Ha Tinh province,75 kilometters to the south from
town center.
Cu Mong pass is short but this is the most
arduous pass in Vietnam.located on 1A highway.The pass is the border betwwen
Binh Dinh and Phu Yen province which is 7 kilometters length and 245 metters
high,sharp bend,high mountain in both side.
Ca pass is the most majestic and arduous pass
in the Middle of Vietnam,located on the border between Dong Hoa(Phu Yen province)
and Van Ninh(Khanh Hoa province) district.

Cao Bang is known as not only a revolutionary
base but the most beautiful fall in Vietnam-Ban Goc,highlighting on tourism
map.
Maybe there are few waterfalls in Vietnam that
have had many tittle as Ban Goc waterfall.Located on border between China and
Vietnam,the most beatiful waterfall in this “S” letter land is gloried as a largest
nature waterfall in Southeast Asia and fourth
in world among waterfalls that located in border.That’s enough to show its
attraction to domestic and foreign tourists.
The steadfast Ban Goc waterfall has 300
metters long of rapidly flow from 53 metters high,throught lads then split into
large and small waterfalls.At the foot of waterfall,you’ll feel fresh and relax
because of dew which emanate from waterfall.Dew soaring form fog looks like a
white silk crosses mountain side,just majestic and poetic.In sunny days,the sun
radiates over waterfall throught spray,form a fanciful and sparking rainbow.
Circulation
There’s no direct traffic from Hanoi to Ban
Goc,you must take passenger car in My Dinh bus station to Cao Bang.Normolly it starts
at night and finishes at the next early morning.Here,you’ll take passenger
car 65 kilometters to Trung Khanh,then
take a motorbike taxi 20 kilometters and finally hire a motor to drive to Ban
Goc.It’s expensive,however.
Time to travel
Ban Gioc has its own beauti in every
seasons.If you travel in dry season (from Oct to next May),you’ll be enjoy its
extremely peace.Incase you travel in rain season(from Jun to Sept),you’ll se
its mighty framework with water wall tossing white foam.
Beside,the rice havest in May with burnished
yelow field and the buckwheat havest at
year-end will be the best time for you enjoy the peace beauty and poetic in
both side land of Ban Goc waterfall.
Taking rest
You must take a rest in Trung Khanh town or
Cao Bang town,because service in surrounding waterfall foot area is not quiet good,hard to find a vacaton and
expensive.At Trung Khanh,you can choose vacation near market.In case staying in
Cao Bang there’re more options.Price is at 200.000-300.000 VND.
Eating
You must take snacks to give strenght at waterfall foot before
continue to discover.If you want to feed at waterfall foot,you must order soon
because the’re no market here,they transport everything from Trung Khanh.Don’t
forget to enjoy special foods at Cao Bang like ap chao cake,xoi tram,khau
Sli,che day,cooc pu cake and buy chesnut,dry beef at gift.
Stop
Apart from Ban Goc,there’re many neighbor
interesting places like Nguom Ngao cave,Ho Then lake.
3 kilometters from Ban Goc waterfall is Nguom
Ngao cave which reputation with wild and charmin,along bunch of stalagmits,form strange
shapes,stimulate your imagination.
Ho Then lake located on Tra Linh district,has
beatiful and poetic landscape.At the high of 1.000 metters,the lake outlines
always plants which grew in stone walls,curves round inside bumpy valley.To
discover the lake,you can hire a boat.
If you have time,you must visit famous
historicals of Cao Bang like Le Nin stream,Pac Bo cave(Ha Quang province) ,or
another place like Bach Ma castle ,Nghieu Son Linh or Kim Dong relic.
