One of the largest in Ha Long Bay - Bo Hon Island
Being one of the most beautiful and largest islands on Halong Bay, Bo Hon Island is very famous for not only its splendid scenery but also many fascinating grottoes.
It’s actually an island range of linked islets. High lime-stone mountainson Bo Hon Island are featured with vertical cliffs and ever-green forest. From a distance, it looks like a majestic citadel. Besides there is a lof of high mountains, mountains follow closely make a huge beautiful watercolour picture on the sea.
There are many grottoes here such as the Sung Sot (Surprise), Luon, Trinh Nu(Virgin) grotto. Each of them has their own marvellous beauty and is related to the moved legends. The island is also home to various species of plants such as benjamin fig trees, cycads and orchids... and animals are monkeys, deer and chamois.     |
Discover new hot spot: Eo Gio
Located
in strait of Nhon Ly village,Quy Nhon city,BinhDinh province,Eo Gio is an
obscure place that you need guided by natives.
In various places along Quy Nhon sea,Eo Gio is
known as a wild beauty and majestic place.It’s a blue strait surrounded by high
fancy sharpe rocky mountains,these create a very beatiful inlet strait.View
from above,you’ll feel overhelmed by the grandeur of mountains,the strong
wind,the endless sea that roaring white foam on the glamor strip.That’s simply
why they name Eo Gio.
You
can take an interest day picnic in Eo Gio.There are grazzing goats in immense
green field around the strait.There is a rocks called “Da de”,the reason for
this name because people has picked a lot of rocks but didn’t feel lessen.These
stones look like chicken eggs,all sizes,all colors, masterpiece was placed by
nature.
Louging on a cooling rock,throw all
double,listen to the sound of winds harmony with mellow surf, taste the salty
of the sea and enjoy the charm blue sky.Inside the glimpse strait,you can take
a rest and visit the place.
Don’t forget visting fishing village,not far
from Eo Gio.Nearby the village there is a large temple Guayin Buddha which look
at the sea,wish of peace and luck for fishermens.Best time to visit this place
is from April to September,time when there is no sea storm and strong wind.
To visit Eo Gio,you must pass Thi Nai
bridge,then go to fork in the road Nhon Hoi,then turn left in straight asphalt
road about 5 kilometters to Nhon Ly village center.Then posts your vehicle in
house and walk for about 100 metters.

O Quy Ho pass (Hoang Lien Son pass) is one of the longest,most arduous and majestic pass in Northwest hingland of Vietnam.Located on 4D highway that cut short Hoang Lien Son mountain,O Quy Ho pass connects the two provinces Lao Cai and Lai Chau,border at the top.
Ma Pi Leng,located on the high of 2000
metters,is one of the highest pass in Vietnam.Under the pass there is Nho Que
river in curve,as tiny as a clew.
Pha Din pass,located on road from Hanoi city to
Dien Bien province,is on the border of Son La and Dien Bien province.The length
is about 32 kilometters,it is terrain and cliff.Pha Din means sun and ground.According
to legend,this is the adjacent place between sun and gound.
Khau Co pass,located on road revent to Yen Bai
province,is the last part of Hoang Lien Son mountain.About 30 kilometters
length pass curves round the rolling mountain.
Bac Sum pass is at the early of 4D highway(Ha
Giang province),about 40 kilometters from Quang Ba.The pass is zigzag,rolling
like overlap fabric rolls.
Thung Khe pass is covered by white floating
clouds.
Khau Lieu pass located between Quang Uyen and
Trung Khanh district,Cao Bang province.”Khau Lieu” is Tay language,means Lieu
pass.Look down from top,Khau Lieu pass looks like a dragon that rolling and
endfold the mountain.
Ngoan Muc pass(Song Pha pass) is one of the
most beautiful pass in Vietnam,located in Ninh Thuan,along vertical
slopes,connects Ninh Son valley and Lang Biang plateau.Ngoan Muc pass is 18.5
kilometters legth, 9 degrees average slope,and this the most slope pass in
Southern provinces.
Phuong Hoang pass located on 26th
highway,which the part is at the border between Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa
province.The leght is 12 kilometters.The pass belong to M’Dak district and Est
gateway of Dak Lak province.
Stretching on Hai Van slope is Hai Van
pass,about 20 kilometters length,connects between Thua Thien-Hue province and
Da Nang city.Hai Van pass is like a soft silk which crossing the majestic and immense
reeds mountain.
Ngang pass(Hoanh Son Quan pass) located on Ky
Nam village,Ky Anh district,Ha Tinh province,75 kilometters to the south from
town center.
Cu Mong pass is short but this is the most
arduous pass in Vietnam.located on 1A highway.The pass is the border betwwen
Binh Dinh and Phu Yen province which is 7 kilometters length and 245 metters
high,sharp bend,high mountain in both side.
Ca pass is the most majestic and arduous pass
in the Middle of Vietnam,located on the border between Dong Hoa(Phu Yen province)
and Van Ninh(Khanh Hoa province) district.
